Job description


What You Will Do

  • End to end ownership of multiple assigned projects - initiation, discovery, development, testing, operational readiness and transition to live, on time, within budget and within scope

  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure not just delivery but successful hypothesis testing and business outcomes

  • Work on streamlining multiple aspects of the CTO office stretching from resource planning, org design, fostering innovation, and emphasis on breaking silos to creating forums/programs of cross-team collaboration

  • Manage the ideation, planning and delivery of incubation programs and new venture build-outs keeping innovation at the center

  • Capability of appreciating technical choices and trade-offs and weighing them against customer outcomes

  • Assign and oversee daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones

  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects

  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives

  • Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company

  • Recruit and train exceptional employees to fulfill posted positions within the technical department

  • Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation




Job requirements


What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Project Management

  • 10+ years of experience planning and delivering projects for in-house software development teams in digital advertising

  • Experienced with different project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to plan, track, and execute projects efficiently

  • Experienced in conducting cost-benefit analysis

  • Experienced in allocating resources effectively and manage project timelines as well as a keen sense of prioritization and resource optimization

  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams

  • Experienced in fostering cooperation and open communication among various departments, and promoting a teamwork mentality

  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles while being adaptable and capable of managing shifting priorities and unforeseen circumstances

  • Experience hiring, mentoring, inspiring and developing rising talent in the technical department

  • Effective communication skills as this roles requires interaction with various stakeholders, provide updates, and present project progress to senior management

  • Ability to work effectively in high-pace, but ambiguous and fully distributed environments

  • Good understanding of Software Development lifecycles
